When trophy fish hidden in the deep sea test your equipment, or the power of tropical waters demands uncompromising performance, the Daiwa 24 Saltiga L 35 Multi Reel is your perfect companion. This left-handed, 705-gram multiplier reel is designed for the challenges of Norwegian and tropical waters, combining DAIWA's latest technologies for unparalleled strength, durability, and handling.
When designing the Saltiga 24 L 35, the goal was to optimize balance, reduce weight, and increase durability, all without compromising ease of use. The reel body features a special 'thumb-hold frame' design that keeps the reel perfectly balanced, making both fighting and casting much more comfortable. The Hyper Driver Design concept guarantees incredible pulling power and long-term durability, even under the most extreme conditions.
The machined Hyper Drive Digigear drive significantly improves power transmission thanks to larger gear teeth, so every turn delivers maximum performance. The Hyper Armed Housing made of aluminum ensures that the gears operate precisely and without distortion inside the housing, while the Hyper Tough Clutch never disengages, even during the biggest casts and heaviest loads. The Hyper Double Support system, with two ball bearings placed on both sides of the drive wheel, ensures perfect power transmission from the handle, minimizing play and increasing efficiency.
To prevent internal corrosion, a special anode has been built into the reel housing, complementing the saltwater-resistant construction and the 7 CRBB® and 1 MagSealed® ball bearings. The waterproof ATD drag system (Automatic Tournament Drag) provides consistent line dispensing under load, making it easier to use thin lines, and is also equipped with a clicking star drag. The handle length can be shortened from 85mm to 75mm, providing extra power and control under heavy load. A spool locking button located on the side plate of the reel housing offers additional convenience. It is an ideal choice for light jig fishing for cod and flatfish, but with its 0.24mm/600m line capacity and 5.1:1 gear ratio, larger predators are also no obstacle.
