The material is waterproof, so the devices operate reliably even in rainy weather and wet conditions. The devices have ergonomically designed buttons and switches that are easy to operate even with gloves on. The bite alarms are equipped with bright and clearly visible LED lights that are well visible at night. The bite alarms are highly sensitive, detecting even the smallest bites. In ideal conditions, the signal between the bite alarms and the receiver can reach up to 110 meters. The entire set comes in a hard plastic case, which protects your alarms during transport.
The bite alarm operates on a long-lasting 12V 23A battery. To switch on and off, press and hold the ON//OFF button for two seconds. After switching on, the colored LED flashes 3 times, and once when switching off. When the device is switched on, you can choose one of 5 volume settings, including silent mode. The LED illuminates for 10 seconds after each bite. The receiver picks up the signal and indicates it with sound, light, and (if this option is selected) vibration. Use the “V” button to select one of the 7 volume settings, including silent mode. To activate vibration mode, press and hold the “V” button for 2 seconds. The receiver has four colored LED diodes that flash for 10 seconds after a bite. It operates on 3 x 1.5V AAA batteries. The receiver and bite alarms store all settings in their memory.
