Delphin CARPY Bite Indicator yellow

The head of the bite indicator has a unique carp shape; this small detail will surely appeal to many carp anglers and distinguish it from classic models. It features a ball line clip, which allows the sensitivity to be adjusted with a small knob. This mechanism consists of small balls, minimizing the friction surface when a fish pulls the line. The head is made of hardened, matte plastic for enhanced protection against mechanical damage.

The body of this bite indicator has been completely redesigned and equipped with two new functions. This concept was entirely developed by Delphin's development engineers.

The first function, CABLE MANAGER, refers to small notches on the side of the bite indicator, whose purpose is to hold the cable in place during transport. This prevents it from getting tangled with other items of your equipment.

The second feature is a groove called ARM STOPPER. In addition to holding the lower part of the bite indicator, it has two other important functions. It protects the main part of the indicator by holding these two parts firmly together, and it can much more decisively prevent the bite indicator from swinging from side to side.

This means that when you lift the rod and the line is released from the indicator head, the CARPY quickly stops in a hanging position. It usually only swings three or four times. Compared to other bite indicators you may have used before, this product offers much greater durability, especially concerning plastic parts and connecting joints.
It also features a sliding counterweight for better line tension. It is equipped with a Delphin TRYO electronic bite indicator connector. After connection, the LED diode lights up with a faint light (corresponding to the color of the head), which allows the indicator to be visible at night. Also considering the loss of parts, this product includes spare connectors that can be attached to the electronic bite indicator.
