Spinning-Offset Hooks
Spinning is a fishing style used to catch predatory fish such as pike, catfish, asp, and zander. These are fish with bonier, harder mouths. But there are also omnivorous fish like chub, barbel, or ide. Predatory fish tend to hide in weeds or behind log snags, from where they can hunt calmly. For such places, we recommend Offset hooks, the selection of which is important. They are designed so that the point securely penetrates the fish's mouth, providing a strong hold and reducing injury, as the hook point does not deeply embed in the fish's mouth, making it much easier to remove from the mouth of perch or pike. In our webshop, you can choose from different sizes. Also, in the Spinning-offset hooks category, you can find Jig heads, such as the high-quality hook of the Delphin Bobm micro jig, and Wobbler hooks.
Spinning hooks allow for a more advanced, and thus more refined, bait presentation, making our fishing more efficient and thus more successful. OFF SET hooks have two major advantages. One, in short, is that this type allows the use of “CHEBU” lead, which is one of the most effective methods for soft plastic lure spinning. The other stems from the hook shape, as the hook point can be “hidden” in the soft plastic body, which significantly reduces snags, although it is not 100% effective, but compared to the classic Jig head, we will experience far fewer “break-offs” with an OFF SET hook. In the case of the hook shape, the key element is the design of the hook eye; the “S”-shaped bend allows for unique soft plastic lure rigging. Whether we call them Drop Shot or OFF SET hooks, these types should not be missing from any spinning angler's tackle box! Our range of spinning hooks includes a wide selection of sizes, brands, and types, among which everyone will find the most suitable one for them!
