Ryobi

Since its founding in 1943, Ryobi has accumulated innovative technologies by manufacturing components for the automotive, electronics, telecommunications and other industries. In 1944, Ryobi took advantage of these technologies and built on its experience to develop fishing tackle. Ryobi entered the fishing market in 1977. It is true that Ryobi is better known for its power tools and garden tools than for its fishing tackle. But nowadays, fishing tackle has become more dominant.
When Ryobi started producing fishing tackle, they were well built and became quality rods and reels. The Ryobi V spool offered self-adjusting casting controls that "automatically" adjusted to the cast as the line was fed into the center of the tapered spool during casting. The V spools are lightweight and allow for thumb free casting when the spools are properly adjusted. Their spools are adaptable to almost any fishing method.
