Braided main lines
The production process of braided line is characterised by the interlacing of several strands. Each of these fibres is naturally of high quality and strength, and their combined strength in braided braid guarantees a long service life. The 0% elongation is its most striking feature, which is both an advantage and a disadvantage. It comes in handy when chasing, because while monofilament has stretch, braided has none, allowing you to react quickly and easily to more careful strokes. Braided line gives a more direct indication of when a catch has been made, but may require more attention to the jigging. The TackleBait Webshop offers a wide range of products from manufacturers such as Delphin, Kamasaki, WFT and Wizard.
The areas of application are very diverse. It can be used as a main line for both feeder fishing and trolling. The use of braided main lines has rapidly spread among fly anglers. It provides good contact with the river bottom and predatory fish. Ultra-fine braided lines are now available in thicknesses up to 0.06 mm; they are very popular with UL anglers and are used in most conditions.
