Fixing on a crate: the device can be placed on any 36 mm diameter leg and fixed by tightening the eyebolt. The "elbow" can be adjusted by means of a small set screw, which allows the tilt angle of the device to be positioned correctly.

Use of the counters . Pressing the metal plate on the front of the counter increases the value by one unit, while the scroll button on the side can be used to reset the counter. The two counters are useful because they allow you to count fish of different sizes separately, but also to count the number of pieces on one counter and the estimated weight on the other. But it is also useful to have two counters if you are collecting fish in two separate bags, so you can keep track of how many fish are in each bag, reducing the chances of exceeding the bag limit (which varies from tournament to tournament, usually 20 kilograms) and avoiding penalties for misconduct.

Using the countdown function: this feature is useful if you need to keep a certain pace, say every 5 or 10 minutes.
Setting:
Use the MIN button to set the desired minute (can be set from 0-99 minutes)
Use the SEC button to set the desired seconds (0-59 seconds).
Use the START/STOP buttons to start and stop the counting
After the time has elapsed, an acoustic signal is emitted, which can be stopped by pressing the START/STOP button
The clock will then offer the last set time, which can be restarted

Using the stopwatch function:
The stopwatch is also a tool often used by tournament anglers to measure how many fish are caught in a unit of time, or to determine the time after which the most fish are caught.
Setting:
The display can be reset by pressing the MIN and SEC buttons simultaneously
Press the START/STOP button and the counter will start.
Press START/STOP to stop and restart the counter
