Our Silver Carp fin set consists of two fin designs. One is named "Hard" and the other "Sensitive", making it clear that the first variations are more heavy-duty floats, while the sensitive versions offer excellent possibilities for fine fishing enthusiasts. These floats are optimised versions of the justly famous Chinese floats for domestic conditions. Again, the stretched float provides much more stability than average, as the float is anchored deep below the surface. A float anchorage carabiner must be hooked into the ear on the lower stem, through which our main line runs. This can be a sliding anchor or a fixed anchor. The body of the float is already in spectacular colours, but the antenna is a real curiosity. It's much longer than the average, and has been painted with a colourful, highly visible band. Yellow and red colours alternate, with white and black transitions, which makes it easy to see the less dynamic catches. A further special feature is the thicker bead at the end of the antenna of the "Hard" version, which helps to ensure that even when the rod is cast further away, the antenna of the float, which acts as a catch indicator, is not lost in the reflection of the reeds opposite. Both the "Sensitive" and "Hard" versions are suitable for traditional bottom fishing. In this case, the float must be weighted with shotgun weights. They are also suitable for bushfishing with a spinning rod, where a small spiral basket and the bait loaded into it are kept in the water. The floats have a wide range of uses, as they can be used in boat reed carp fishing, even with a ring stick, but they also work perfectly in modern spey pole big fish fishing, as well as in match pole open water casting. The Haldorado Hard Silver Carp is available in 5, 6, 8 and 10 gram sizes, while the Haldorado Sensitive Silver Carp is available in 3, 4, 5 and 6 gram sizes.
