The Remote Pre-clamp is an improved version of the tried and tested pre-clamp. It ensures a quick, knot-free connection between the hook leader and the main line. However, a 6 cm long spacer tube can be added when assembling to ensure that the hook leader does not wind up on the main line.

1.Form an ear from the main line and insert it through the smaller opening of the cone and then hook it into the opening of the cone plug.

2.Insert the tab on the hook through the clear spacer tube and hook it into the slot in the plug opposite the main line tab.

3. Plug the two members of the pre-attachment together, then pull the spacer tube onto the spike.
