It is quick and easy to use:
Pull back the release button on the hook holder lock and hold it in. Insert the hook head between the two metal latches into the recess in the hook head securing recess and push down until it disappears. When only the shank of the hook is visible, it is pushed deep enough. Release the lock release button. Insert the line selected for tying into the guide slot with the end of the line on top and the longer part of the line exiting at the bottom of the device. Insert the end of the line under the metal buckle and slide it sideways until it strikes. Before forming the loop, ensure that the loop securing slide is in the correct position. The sliding element must be positioned at the opposite point to the line guide slot. If it is not, pull it through the guide slot to the correct side until it stops. Tension the line out of the bottom of the device onto the sliding element on the loop holder, guide it towards the hook and then guide it back into the line guide slot from above. The longer end of the line is returned to its original starting position. Pull back the hook retention knob and hold it pressed. The device will start to wrap the line around the hook. After 5-6 turns, release the button.
Pull the loop securing slider through to the opposite side until it stops.
Gently push the protruding part in the direction of the gap until the whole thing tilts, so that the stretched loop comes loose. Take hold of the line that comes out of the bottom of the unit and gently pull down until the loose loop is fully threaded and disappears.
Pull the release button on the hook holder lock and remove the hook from its place.
After the first 2 or 3 ties, you will be able to use the device routinely and save time.
