A new generation of the MONSTRO rods is designed for an active type of catfish fishing, especially for vertical spin fishing or clonking technique.

From the first moment, MONSTRO catches your eye with its new, more aggressive design. Moreover, the rod now has a redesigned and strengthened blank. The overall weight is 250 g and when it comes to combat, the power is evenly distributed without any unnecessary connections. This rod is designed mainly for extreme fishing from a boat on both freshwater and saltwater. The handle has a new ergonomic design that you’ll appreciate in extreme situations, and the butt cap is also suitable for fighting belts. You’ll be able to fight even the mightiest fish lurking in the depths, such as big catfish or sea predators. These are the goals of this extremely strong rod. When designing it, our priority was an exceptionally strong blank to tame all the water beasts. In addition, the reel seat has a security nut for an improved support, which means that Monstro won’t give in even in the moment of crisis. The rod is divided in an asymmetric way—the blank (150 cm) including all the guides is inserted into the handle to guarantee real strength that won’t be weakened by a classic type of connection. We wanted to have a very sturdy blank with a reinforcing carbon wrapping PowerWrap which works very well during casting and fighting. The rod guides are reinforced as well and wrapped for increased durability.
